In circles, lines and spirals we gather to dance simple, traditional and newly crafted village dances from around the world. Join in nature’s dance as the season turns leaving the gift of a bountiful harvest. We give thanks.

Bring your life experience, curiosity, and desire to learn the stories of - and personally explore - these simple and timeless dances passed on, generation to generation from cultures around the world.

We will dance on the amazing large wooden floor, inside shoes or barefoot. Dress in comfortable clothes to move and flow. Please bring your water bottle. Refills available.

First time dancers are always welcomed!! Each dance will be taught, no experience required.

In these challenging times each of us enters the circle with respect for the comfort level of others. We will be following the studio’s Covid protocol.

Dr. Matthew Fox and Creation Spirituality she is on the faculty as a Creation Spirituality Artist and serves as a Creative Consultant to the Matthew Fox Legacy Project: www.dailymetitationswithmatthewfox.org.

The Sacred Dance Community was founded in 1976 by German Dance Master Bernhard Wosien in collaboration with the Findhorn Foundation, Scotland. http://www.findhorn.org It is a collection of traditional dances and contemporary choreographies which work on many levels to create community through celebration and devotion. When we join hands and dance these simple dancing mantras in circles, lines and spirals, a blessing descends, energy is activated and with intention our dancing becomes a spiritual practice that transforms and heals self, others, our living planet. Ellen believes the original impulse to dance came from a deep desire to connect with divine mystery and this impulse is encoded in our DNA.

Ellen was trained and certified at The Findhorn Foundation in Scotland to present Sacred Circle Dance in the Findhorn Tradition and is dedicated to keeping the joy of dancing in community alive!!
