ABOUT

The Switch Jam Vol. 4 is a chance to put your money where your mouth is. Spectators will be given the chance to challenge the judges if they disagree with who won the battle by tipping coins we’ll make available at the door. Join us to battle, watch, and enjoy some treats! Youth ages 8 & up can join to learn more about the culture of hip hop and battles. Come support amazing dancers as they battle it out. Stay for the whole time or stop-in.

1 battle entry - $15 (1v1 Youth All Styles | 1v1 Hip Hop | 2v2 All Styles)

2 battle entries - $30 (1v1 Hip Hop I 2v2 All Styles )

SCHEDULE

1pm: Registration

1-2pm: Youth 1v1 + 2v2

2pm-3:30pm: Youth 1v1 & 2v2 battle: 

3:30pm: Adult Battle Registration

3:45pm: Finals kids battle 

4-5pm: Adult Cypher Prelims

Cypher break 10 minutes

Adult Battle registration: 3:30pm (hip hop, Krump, All-Style) 

5-5:15pm: Cypher/food

5:30-6:30pm: Top 16/Top 8 (1 round 45 seconds) 

6:45-7:30pm: Semi-finals/Finals

End with a dance jam!

FAQs

  • Yes, there will be food available for purchase, bring cash!

  • NO! We need supporters too - come spectate! But if you change your mind, you can register day of.

  • Our studio will be packed! Garage doors will likely be open, music will be BLASTING (earplugs recommended if you are sensitive to sound). There will be cyphers, battles, amazing pro dancers, and good vibes.

    Standing room with limited seats.

  • There is AMPLE parking in front of and to the side of our building and all around the industrial park. Overflow can park across the street in the school lot.
